I'm Kimberly Mattson, a project manager and organizational development consultant specializing in learning and development, change management, and workforce training. I hold a PhD from Virginia Tech, trauma-informed leadership certifications at two levels, and a track record of above-average participant ratings across every facilitation and training context I've worked in. My clients span education, nonprofit, and private sector industries, and what they share is a recognition that investing in people and systems is a strategic priority. I've guided organizations through complex transitions, designed workforce development curricula for emerging industries, and built the kind of internal capacity that lets organizations grow without losing what makes them effective, and my projects are on time, within budget, and have measurable results.

Outside of work you'll find me hiking the Blue Ridge, traveling, testing a new recipe, or chasing the right light with a camera. I bring that same curiosity and attention to detail to every client engagement because the best solutions, like the best photographs, are always in the details.
